Tratamentul edentatiei totale folosind implante cu incarcare imediata (tip All On 4 pentru mandibula si All On 6 pentru maxilar – denumite Teeth Xpress de BioHorizons) s-a dovedit de success si este din ce in ce mai des cerut de pacienti.
BioHorizons organizeaza un curs de 2 zile la Washington DC in perioada 27-28 octombrie 2017. Implantele BioHorizons folosite pentru Teeth Xpress (All On 6 / 6) sunt prevazute cu LaserLock (canalicule calibrate pe dimensiunea celulei osoase, ceea ce reduce la maximum resorbtia osoasa) in zona gatului implantului sau chiar pe toata lungimea implantului.
Costul cursului pentru chirurg este de $2.995 (aprox. €2.582)

Dr. Mugur Tataru
1. Hands-on implant placement & denture conversion lab
A hands-on surgical and prosthetic exercise will reinforce the training provided in the didactic presentations. Using an anatomic mandibular model, surgeons will lay a flap, place implants with adequate anterior-posterior spread followed by Multi-unit abutments. Restorative dentists will work with a laboratory technician to deliver a natural-looking, fixed immediate load prosthesis. Attendees can take home their model to use during patient consultations.
2. Planning for the final prosthesis
Best practices for designing the definitive prosthesis will be outlined. Cutting edge techniques including a digital workflow for efficiently achieving passivity of the metal substructure will be demonstrated. Achieving esthetics, establishing VDO, phonetics and other critical factors necessary for delivery of the final prosthesis in three restorative visits will be covered in detail.
3. Business training
The clinical process of rehabilitating a patient with an implant-supported, full-arch prosthesis can begin only when the patient is identified, the treatment plan is presented and the patient is inspired to move forward with treatment. Clinicians attending this TeethXpress course will receive training on proven full-arch case selection and case acceptance strategies designed to attract and influence patients in need of this treatment modality. Internal marketing, visual aids and verbal skills will be discussed.
The concept of immediate load in implant dentistry is an increasingly popular treatment option due to patient demand and increased clinical predictability. TeethXpress® is an immediate load, immediate function protocol designed to treat fully or partially edentulous patients. This 1.5 day course includes a team approach to full arch prosthetic conversions to achieve an immediate fixed provisional and final prosthesis.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for surgeons, restorative colleagues and laboratory technicians who want to provide a predictable full arch immediate load service. Clinicians interested in developing a streamlined approach to the final prosthesis, and who have intermediate to advanced experience in implant dentistry will benefit from attending.
